Frequently Asked Questions
The system tracks network usage using 32-bit integers. Once the usage reaches approximately 4.29 GB,
it automatically rolls over to zero again. This is a system-level limitation.
On iOS, background activity is tightly controlled by the system. Apps cannot freely run tasks whenever they want.
In the best case, this app may check the device’s thermal state about once per hour while running in the background.
In reality, the actual frequency depends on factors such as how often you use the app, your device’s battery level,
and current thermal conditions. If you fully close (force quit) the app, background checks will not run at all.
For more frequent updates, you can add the Home Screen widget, which typically refreshes every 15–30 minutes,
though iOS may still delay or reduce updates depending on system conditions.
If you want to make sure thermal data is recorded at the right time, you can also set up an
automation in the Shortcuts app using the app’s “Record Thermal” shortcut. This lets the system
automatically run the shortcut and log the thermal state whenever your chosen trigger conditions are met.
Apple requires apps to have precise location permissions to display SSID and BSSID, treating Wi-Fi network data as sensitive.
Granting this permission in your device settings allows the app to show those network details.
Refunds typically go through the platform’s app store or payment service. Consult your store’s
refund policy and follow the instructions
provided there. If you need additional help, contact us.
Open Storage Records to view a daily log of your storage usage.
If you have more than a week’s worth of records,
you can see trends that estimate your average daily changes and predict when you might cross certain storage thresholds.
iOS does not provide apps with access to the device’s exact internal temperature.
Instead, Apple only allows apps to read the system-defined thermal states
(such as nominal, fair, serious, and critical).
Because of this restriction, the app can only display which state your device is in,
rather than reporting a specific temperature value.
